In order to enhance the channels of communication between the Committee and residents, and between residents themselves, we have both a website (this site, recently re-launched) and a Facebook group for the Association. This website is home to information such as:
- Events, e.g. plant swap, AGM date etc.
- Neighbourhood watch updates (“Crime report”)
- Publicly accessible documents, e.g. our constitution, buyer’s pack
- Restricted access documents, e.g. AGM minutes, annual accounts, subscription details
- Our seasonal newsletters
Please visit the website to explore what it can offer you. If you have your own (free) WordPress account there is the facility to add your own comment to many of the articles and if you click on the “Follow” link at the bottom of the page, you will receive an email alert whenever new content is added.
Our private Facebook group is a more informal channel where residents can swap information with each other as well as keep up to date with the latest news from the Committee. If you have a Facebook account, search for WCRA (or click here) and click to “Join”. If you are not currently a Facebook user, you will need to sign up for a free account in order to access our group.
Finally, although your road rep remains your first point of contact, we now have our own email address: secretary@wadecourtresidents.co.uk as an alternative means of getting in touch with the Association.
Rest assured that these developments are intended to augment our existing contact with residents and that the traditional, paper methods of keeping you informed will remain in place for all who wish to retain them.
